Hi Nigel, thanks so so much for making Paul’s celebration so memorable.  The food was delicious and beautifully presented too – everyone commented on it! You, Jim, Helen and Hannah were a pleasure to have around and so professional too! You made it look so easy!!

We hope you use you again in the future!

What, no plums?

Fans of Lincolnshire plum bread will know it contains no plum!.  So why is it called that?

We’re told by a baker friend of ours it is the process of re-hydrating (often with tea) the dried raisins & fruits, whilst others say its the actual drying of the fruit, or that “plum” is simply a pre-Victorian name for a raisin.

Whatever it is we think it’s delicious with blue cheese such as a Colston Bassett Stilton or Cote Hill Blue, all of which are available in the BMC Christmas hamper.

Shop local, eat delicious!

BMC Christmas Corporate Hamper orders have already smashed last year’s numbers, so thank you all for supporting local.

Clients love that they can choose exactly what they include from a curated selection of local artisan Christmas goodies.  New this year are coffees from Two Chimps, homeware from Katie Cardew Illustrations & jams from Saints & Sinners.  These are in addition to offerings from Lincolnshire Poacher, Stamford Heavenly Chocolates, Infiniteas, Pocklington & Hambleton bakeries & brilliant chutneys from The Bytham Kitchen.

It just doesn’t get more local and festive than that.

Support local, eat delicious this Christmas!
