Just a few pics from a wedding at Barnsdale Gardens a couple of weekends ago, in the pouring rain! For 80 guests all served in the impressive tipi.
Bruschetta Caprese to start, along with Prosciutto di San Daniele, Salame Felino, Cotto all erbe, Mortadella, Provolone & pickles. A main course of local British lamb legs, butterflied & barbequed, with a herb & garlic crust or our own treacle cured salmon served with dill, pink peppercorns & pickled cucumber. Served with side dishes of a salad of fresh rocket with shaved parmesan & aged balsamic, traditional potato salad, roasted red peppers with garlic, flat leaf parsley, sherry vinegar & extra virgin olive oil & a salsa verde. The vegetarian option was kebabs of courgette, peppers, onion & halloumi.
Torte limone & finally a local cheeseboard: Lincolnshire Poacher, Lincoln Red & Cote Hill Blue accompanied by Modens plum bread & biscuits.
